The Amargosa Conservancy
The Amargosa Conservancy is a Death Valley area conservation organization created to raise awareness of the Amargosa River Basin of Western Nevada and Eastern California which features a unique free flowing river in the Mojave Desert and supports a world class array of rare and endangered species dependent upon its water.

The Mojave Desert Land Trust
The Mojave Desert Land Trust (MDLT) is a 501(c)(3) public charity, founded in 2005.  Its mission is to protect the Mojave Desert ecosystem and its scenic and cultural resource values.

Death Valley National Park
Death Valley National Park has more than 3.3 million acres of spectacular desert scenery, interesting and rare desert wildlife, complex geology, undisturbed wilderness, and sites of historical and cultural interest. Bounded on the west by 11,049 foot Telescope Peak and on the east by 5,475 foot Dante's View, Badwater is the lowest point (-282 feet) in the western hemisphere.

California's Gold
The only statewide television series in California about California. This series airs on all 13 PBS affiliates in the state and is used in over a thousand schools and libraries as a resource for people to learn more about our state's rich history, cultural diversity and natural wonders.

Pahrump Information and Welcome Center
The Town of Pahrump is located in the peaceful Pahrump Valley of Southern Nevada approximately 60 miles West of Las Vegas and 60 miles East of Death Valley. The word Pahrump is a Paiute Indian expression interpreted to mean "water rock" or "place where big waters flow". Pahrump offers a rural, country-like atmosphere with clean fresh air, plenty of good water and a temperate desert climate second to none. The surrounding majestic mountain ranges and breathtaking sunsets are truly awesome. People are friendly, housing is very affordable, property taxes are low and there are no personal or corporate taxes. With a population of about 30,000 there is no traffic to fight and very little crime.
